Aaron Schock

Washington, Dec 14, 2012 - Congressman Aaron Schock (R-IL) announced today that he has nominated the following students to a military academy for the class entering the fall of 2013. 

Schock nominated these students for attendance at the following military service academies after a highly competitive application and interview process. Final determination on admission is made by the individual academy. The process is not political and applicants do not have to personally know their Member of Congress to be nominated.  Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science degree and most are commissioned as the lowest rank for a commissioned officer in each of the branches of the military.

“Our service academics are second to none. The training these students receive will prepare them to face the challenges and responsibilities that come with serving as a military leader in the 21st century,” said Congressman Aaron Schock. “I’m confident that this next class of young men and women entering military service through our academies will do so with a great sense of determination, integrity and service to country.”
